New email copy - 22/04/15

As of 22/04/15, the copy in the emails received by volunteers has changed. This guide is to inform you of the new copy.

1) Volunteer registers their interest

Subject line: Do-it.org - Thank you for registering your interest to volunteer!

Dear [name],

You have registered your interest for this volunteering opportunity on Do-it.org:

[opportunity name]

[for org]

Please note, it could take up to 7 days for the recruiting organisation to get back to you with further information and to start the application process.

In the meantime, why not complete your Do-it profile and contact information?  This helps recruiters get back to you quickly - and it means that we can suggest new opportunities that match your interests as they come in.  Click here to get started!

2) Volunteer is Placed

Subject line: Do-it.org - Confirmation of your volunteering placement

Dear [Name],

Congratulations! You have been placed for the following volunteering opportunity:

[Apply to opp name]

[For org]

This means the recruiting organisation has selected you as a volunteer for this opportunity.  You can now add this opportunity to your Volunteer CV.

Once you’ve completed your volunteering activity, you can log how many hours you gave to the project and rate your overall experience.

3) Volunteer is Not Placed

Subject line: Do-it.org - Unable to progress your interest any further

Dear [Name],

You registered your interest in the below volunteering opportunity, unfortunately the organisation aren’t able to recruit you this time.

[Apply to opp name]

[For org]

Don’t worry! There are plenty more fish in the sea…  There are thousands of new opportunities listed on Do-it.org everyday, so keep searching! And don’t forget to update your volunteering preferences so we can suggest new opportunities as they become available.
