To create a volunteering event, first click the dashboard icon in the top navigation to take you to your Admin dashboard.
Once in your Admin Dashboard you will see a prompt to create your first event.
On the create an event form - select the type of event you want to publish. In this case it will be a Volunteering event.
Enter the number of places or volunteers you require.
Use the Date picker to set the start and end dates and times.
Click the AM/PM setting to set the time for morning or afternoon.
Enter the location of the event - you can use a postcode, type a place name or use a specific address. Make sure you select the correct address from the list that drops down.
You can now upload your own image for the event. Finally click preview to check out what your listing will look like before publishing it.
On the preview screen you can select Edit to go back to editing mode, or Publish to make the event live.
After you click publish you will be presented with options of where you can publish your event. You have been given publishing permission to the Good Things Foundation channel - this is a private channel subscribed to by BT, select this channel and your event will be exclusively published into the BT Employee volunteering ecosystem.
You will receive a notification that your event has been published successfully.
